Purpose of Course

This unit standard will provide recognition for those who facilitate or intend to facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies. Formal recognition will enhance their employability and provide a means to identify competent learning facilitators.

Who should attend?

Any individual who wishes to pursue a career as a facilitator of learning at the workplace or at an independent training provider.

The qualifying learner will be able to:

Plan and prepare for facilitation;

Facilitate learning; and

Evaluate learning and facilitation.

Entry requirements:

Candidate-facilitators need to be competent in the learning area in which training will be provided.
